An Extra Crafty Update

Today we are managing the feat of being simultaneously stunned and delighted. After a busy week involving, in staggering and really quite inordinate quantities, superglue, dogs eating plastic, and the reincarnation of Patrick Swayze, we finally have leisure to scan the toilet horizon. A comment from "Plumbing" alerted us to the existence of something we were only aware of in the very vaguest sense: "Toilet paper origami is the origami-style folding of toilet paper. Includes the folding while still on the toilet roll." While we have briefly touched on this subject in a previous blog update, we didn't realise that it was possible to take it to quite such dizzying heights! Intrigued, we did some scouring of the internet and found this website:

Luckily for those of us who are all thumbs, you can get easily accessible instructions. Image from baronbob.com
In case you're feeling inclined towards arts and crafts this Christmas, why not indulge in some toilet paper origami! Here's something to aspire to:

Or, if you're feeling matrimonially-minded, why not make yourself a toilet-paper wedding dress? We couldn't applaud this more heartily if we tried.

What do Gone with the Wind, origami, and toilet paper have in common? This! Image from http://manolobrides.com/2009/07/03/toilet-paper-has-never-looked-this-good/
